Sheri Schrock finished in second place in the 65-69 year age group in a time of five hours and 28 minutes at the 2019 XTERRA World Championship in Kapaplua, Maui, on Oct 27. The XTERRA World Championship is the world’s premier off-road triathlon, combining a one-mile rough water ocean swim, a 20-mile mountain bike that climbs 3,500 feet up and down the slopes of the West Maui Mountains, and a 6.5-mile trail run back up the mountains and finishing with a traverse on beach sand. More than 600 of the world’s best athletes, including 53 pros, from 42 countries participated.

Schrock stand out in recent competition.
