The ICC baseball team went 4-2 in the past six games. On Saturday, they swept a doubleheader against Vermilion, then split with the Ironmen on Sunday. The Vikings then split a series with Central Lakes Monday.

In game one Saturday ICC plated the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth inning and held on for a 4-3 win. Nick Shea had two hits including a home run and drove in three runs. Euri Mora had two hits with an RBI, while Lane Gerber pitched five innings, allowing two earned runs with six strikeouts.

In the second game the Vikings pounded out 14 hits, scoring six runs in the first inning, then adding four in the second en route to a 15- 1 win. John Baker went 4-for-4 at the plate with a pair of RBIs. Shea connected on a three-run home run and Michael Chupurdia, Chase Stoddard and Stephane Lagasse each drove in two runs. On the mound, Morgan Kapaun allowed one earned run with five strikeouts.

In a close first game Sunday, ICC was able to come away with a walk-off, 2-1, win in the bottom of the seventh inning. Skyler Forst doubled and drove in a run, while Baker had two hits.

In game two, Vermilion scored four runs in the first inning and added two more in third inning to build a 6-0 advantage. The Ironmen went on to win the game 10-3.

Baker doubled and tripled for the Vikings, while Michael Chupurida had two hits with a pair of RBIs.

In the opening game Monday, ICC rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to come back for a 4-3 win.

Shea and Kapaun each had two hits, Chupurdia drove in two runs and Skyler Forst and Lagasse each had an RBI.

In game two, it was a tie game at 3-3 heading into the sixth inning before the Raiders scored four runs to take the lead.

Forst had two hits for the Vikings with RBIs coming from Chupurdia, James Ehresman, and Lane Gerber.

ICC (14-26) hosts Rainy River Friday, then plays Rainy River on the road Saturday to close out the regular season.
