ST. CLOUD — Micah Miller, a resident of Grand Rapids and graduate of Grand Rapids High School, recently completed his sophomore season as a forward for the St. Cloud State University men’s hockey team.

Miller played in 31 games this season scoring seven goals and tallied 11 assists for a career-high 18-point season. A two-time All-National Collegiate Hockey Conference selection, Miller had 42 shots on goal, seven blocked shots and was plus 6 on the plus/minus in 2019-20.

Of note, SCSU’s 2019-20 season was cut short prior to the start of the NCHC playoffs due to the COVID-19 crisis.

St. Cloud State University plays in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference, which is widely recognized as one of the nation’s premiere NCAA Division I men’s hockey conferences. SCSU has won three NCHC titles in 2014, 2018 and 2019, and posted a 13-15-6, 10-12-2 NCHC record in 2019-20.
