1956 - 2019
Richard James Green, 63, of Cohasset, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019 in Deer River.
Dick was born June 20, 1956 in Cloquet, Minn. He moved to Aurora, Minn., at an early age where he attended school. After graduation, Dick moved to Arizona where he attended college and received a degree in electrical engineering. Dick then returned to Minnesota and started a career at Minnesota Power. He was a first responder for First Call for Help, he made donations to the local community including Grace House, Disabled Vets and St. Joseph’s Church. Anyone who knew him instantly felt an impact by his free spirit, his illegal smile and great sense of humor. He had great relationships with his wife, family and brothers from his club. He was loved by many and many will carry his love forward.
Dick is survived by his wife Anita; daughters Jessica (Alec) Irwin, Sarah Green, Kelly Green; grandchildren Levi Green, Faith Allen, Weston and Clayton Danileson; brother Jamie Green; and many cousins and family.
A memorial visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 10, 5-7 p.m. at Carroll Funeral Home, Deer River, Minn.
