NCLS delivers presents to all students
Last week, the Northern Lights Community School (NLCS) elves packed and delivered 90+ individual, wrapped presents to each of our students. NLCS has been in distance learning since the start of school and we've been missing our students. “We felt a gift delivery would be fun and show our kids we miss them and care about them,” said Director of NLCS Mike Hamernick.
Several local businesses donated to make the gifts even more special. Bender's donated empty shoeboxes to pack the gifts in. Ann Backes from Thrivent and Deanna Whirley From Touchstone Crystal by Swarovski donated gifts to put in the boxes. Lastly, Sarah Richards from Sweet Amelia’s Cupcakery donated cupcakes for everyone. “Thank you to our community partners,” added Hamernick. “We appreciate your support.” Pictured, are gifts for NLCS students lined up and ready for delivery. The delivery elf is Benita Hassell.
