Leech Lake Reservation Band of Ojibwe held its 57th Mii Gwitch Mahnomen (thank you for the wild rice) Days Annual Traditional Pow-Wow held for three days at Ball Club this past weekend. Native American Ojiibwe bands from Canada, Dakotas, and Wisconsin, attended the event. Nashel Bebeau, from Ball Club, along with her daughter, Natalie coordinated the event. “Our annual pow-wow is always a success,” said Nashel. “We bring invisitors, dancers, veterans, and elders, from all over. Mii Gwitch (thank you).”
