Every town is known for something. For Remer, Minn. it’s the famous sightings of Bigfoot. Inspired by the mysterious creatures presence, is the annual Remer Bigfoot Music Festival.
The Remer Bigfoot Music Festival is sponsored by the Remer Area Chamber of Commerce. Scott Kesti, organizer of the festival, said there will be no significant changes to this year’s event. Attendees can expect two full days of music with plenty of food options available.
“The goal of the festival is to invite people to Remer to enjoy some great Minnesota, check out our wonderful community and kick off the fall season with a bang,” Kesti said.
There will be a number of food trucks over the weekend including Steven D’s, Gross’s BBQ and the Woodpile. Craft beer will be available. The Northland Lions bake sale and silent auction will also be taking place, along with the Remer Centennial Book Sale and various craft vendors.
The festival is located at 104 Mill Street in Remer. Camping is available at the Remer Motel and Campground, Timber Trails Resort, Balsam Bay Resort and Squatch Camp. For additional lodging information, visit remerchamber.com/lodging.html or contact the Rember Chamber of Commerce.
