In partnership with the Itasca County Family YMCA and ElderCircle, Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital and the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy are sponsoring the fall health screening event at the Itasca County Family YMCA Active Living Center on Monday, Nov. 11 from 8 to 11 a.m. University of Minnesota Pharmacy students will provide pillbox set-up and free pillboxes, participants need to bring their medications, medication reviews, bone density screenings and A1C, blood pressure, lipid panel and blood glucose testing. Grand Itasca will provide grip strength and balance assessments and offer an acupuncture demonstration. ElderCircle will provide memory screenings and Audiology Concepts will provide hearing screenings. For best results, fast for two hours prior to screenings.
