Loon Country Quilters will meet Tuesday, February 18th, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Grand Rapids.

The refresher/beginning quilting class starts promptly at 5:30 and runs for 30 minutes. The February class will be “Cutting On The Grain” by Edna Trunt. Come hear a presentation on what fabric grain is and how to best cut fabric with the grain and why it is important. If you have any suggestions for future classes, please let our members-at-large or anyone from the Program Committee, know.

The meeting will start at 6:00. No snacks this month. The program, starting at 6:30, will be “Tips and Tricks to Keep Your Machine Purring” by Tanya from P & D Sewing. Tanya and Scott Jackson are the owners/operators of P&D Sewing in Grand Rapids MN. She has many years of expertise with a variety of Baby Lock sewing and embroidery machines and also does repairs on many types of machines. There will be a $5.00 charge for non-menbers.
