Loon Country Quilters will meet Tuesday, October 15th, at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Grand Rapids.

The refresher/beginning quilting class starts promptly at 5:30 and runs for 30 minutes. The topic will be "Traditional Binding for your Quilt". Come hear Edna talk about binding your quilt in the traditional manner. She will have helpful suggestions about how to make the process as efficient as possible. If you have any suggestions for future classes, please let Barb V., our member-at-large or anyone from the Program Committee, know.

We will have snacks at 6:15, meeting at 6:30 p.m. and the program will start at 7:00 p.m.

Red Button Quilt Company, owned by Emily Hardwig, will be doing a trunk show for our October program. Red Button Quilt Company is a quilt design business located in Bemidji, Minnesota and specializes in small quilts and traditional designs. Many of their quilts have those little extras like hand embroidery, buttons and wool applique'. Emily will also have kits and patterns available for sale. Check them out at their website redbuttonquiltco.com. Cost for non-members is $5.00.

Thank you to everyone who donated or bought patterns at our pattern sale. Watch for it again next year with pattern donations beginning in April.

There will be Show & Tell. We welcome all guests. You can find Loon Country Quilters on facebook at facebook.com/LoonCountryQuilters
