Visitors Day at North Central Research and Outreach Center

The University of Minnesota North Central Research & Outreach Center (NCROC) will host its annual Visitor's Day Thursday, August 22 from 3-7 p.m.

During Visitor's Day guests can take tours through research areas, and visit various displays.  U of M specialists, Extension educators,  and Itasca County Master Gardeners will be on site to explain research programs and answer questions. There will be activities for children - including the Passport Game! 

New in 2019: Bell Museum’s traveling planetarium ExploraDome, Minnesota Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center, Itasca Waters, a corn maze, and more!

Learn how U of M research impacts your life! Come early to enjoy the tours and see the wide range of activities happening at NCROC! Food available.

Culvers will be onsite giving free samples of their frozen custard, Boreal Brewers will hand out samples of handcrafted brews, free popcorn, and additional food will be available for purchase from Chad’s Meat Wagon.

Bring the family! All ages are welcome and admission is FREE!
