The Grand Rapids Downtown Business Association hosted its Annual Holiday Window Decorating Contest. This annual event typically is held in conjunction with Shop Small Business Saturday and the WinterGlo Festival. Due to the pandemic, this year the WinterGlo Festival was not held. The Grand Rapids Downtown Business Association wanted to still move forward with the window decorating contest because it brings together the community and the small businesses located downtown. "We wanted to keep the holiday spirit alive, and encourage people to come downtown and walk the downtown streets to view the decorated windows. This is a safe and fun activity that families can do together," shares Megan Christianson, GRDBA President.

The Grand Rapids Downtown Business Association awarded the Window Decorating Contest WINNERS:

1st Prize: Benders Shoes - received $100

2nd Prize: Benders Gifts - received $75

3rd Prize: Lake Lover Vintage - received $50
