Hunter sight in days at the Itasca Gun Club

Deer hunters, the opening of the 2012 deer hunting season is fast approaching and once again the Itasca Gun club located on County Road 61 north of Grand Rapids will be conducting their annual firearms sight-in days which is open to the public. Sight-in cost is $3 per rifle.

Itasca Gun Club members remind hunters to bring warm clothing, sometimes the waiting lines can be long.

Sight-in hours:

Oct. 20, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open to the public.

Oct. 21, 1 to 5 p.m. Open to the public.

Oct. 22 & 26, 1 to 5 p.m. Open to the public.

Oct. 27, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open to the public.

Oct. 28 - Nov. 2, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Open to the public.

Itasca Gun club volunteers will be on hand to help with spotting and suggestions on sight and scope adjustments.
