Vikings Head Coach Dan Mell hasn’t been shy about analyzing his quarterback play this season. After Saturday’s 34-14 loss to the Northland Pioneers, in which quarterbacks Zerek Marsyla and Kyle Johnson combined for one touchdown pass, four interceptions and a bushel of incomplete passes, Mell once again went straight there when asked for his reactions to the team’s performance.

“Our quarterbacks played under par,” he said. “Too many interceptions and turnovers...Our quarterback play has got to get better.”
