Mark Jonathon Grossman, 49, of Marble, died Dec. 8, 2009 in Marble.

Mark was born in 1959 in White Sulfur Springs, Mont. He attended school at Forest Lake Elementary, Grand Rapids Middle School, and Greenway High School. Mark was employed as a mill wright for Northern Belt and Conveyor.  He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed camping with his family and oil painting.

Mark is survived by his children, John,  Molly (Travis) Schendel, and Ethan; grandchildren, Aiden, Paxton, Connor, Violette, and Kianna; mother, Maxine Grossman Neal; siblings, Frederick Grossman Jr., Andrew Johnson, Wendy Slater, Samuel Grossman Sr., Stephanie Childers, and William Grossman; mother of his children, Jeanine Grossman and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Grossman Sr.

A visitation is  Friday , Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Grand Rapids

Burial is at 2 p.m. at Wirt Cemetery.
