Charlene Esther Bluntach, age 60 of Lawrence Lake, Minn., died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012 at her home, due to a tragic accident.
Charlene was born in 1952 in Grand Rapids, Minn. to Burt and Jeanette Bluntach. She graduated from Bigfork High School in 1972 and continued her education completing her AA degree at Itasca Community College. She worked many years at Bob’s Off-Sale in Cohasset. Many recall her friendly and warm personality. In 1973, she gave birth to her only child, Jason, who she loved dearly. Her pride and joy was her granddaughter Brienna, and Grandma Char will always be her guardian angel. Charlene loved spending time with her family, friends, and granddaughter. She loved animals and especially enjoyed visits from their pet deer, Bucky.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Ken Combs.
Charlene is survived by her son, Jason (Connie) Bluntach; granddaughter, Brienna of Grand Rapids, Minn.; her partner, Dan “Boone” Perrington of Lawrence Lake, Minn. and his mother, Ladine Perrington and family; sisters, Cheryl (Mike) Bunes and Charmaine Leonhard both of Lawrence Lake, Minn.; four brothers, Burt (Patty) Bluntach of Marble, Minn., Delbert (Brandie) Bluntach of Lawrence Lake, Minn., Brad Bluntach of Marble, Minn., and Brian (Joannah) Bluntach of Meadowlands, Minn.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside Services will be Thursday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine, MN. Rev.Carl Lamppa will officiate. A luncheon will follow at Lawron Town Hall in Lawrence Lake.
